By using this website, you accept the privacy practices presented in the Privacy Policies.

We encourage you to read the Privacy Policies in full to understand our privacy practices before using the Services or submitting any personal information.

Consent & Revocation of Consent

By submitting information to us in connection with the Services or using the Services you are providing your consent to the collection, use and disclosure of your personal information as set out in this Privacy Policy and we, as well as our staff, may rely on that consent. We may also be entitled by law to contact you for commercial purposes, subject to your right to withdraw consent detailed below.

Consent may be withdrawn at any time, subject to legal, regulatory, or contractual restrictions and reasonable notice; however, without such consent, we may not be able to provide you with the Services.

Commercial Electronic Communications: You can always limit the communications that we send to you. You may choose to stop receiving our newsletter or marketing emails, if applicable, by following the unsubscribe instructions included in these emails, contacting us using the contact information listed in the Contact section of this Privacy Notice below, or updating your account preferences through the Services. Personal Information We Collect

When you use the Services, we may collect personal information about you. The personal information we collect includes:

  • Contact and demographic information, such as your name, gender, date of birth, contact information (postal code, city and province/territory, email address, shipping/billing address, telephone number).
  • Account and transaction information, such as your password management information and security questions and answers, as well as information related to your participation in the Services (including, for example, products that you choose to purchase).
  • Credit and other financial information for those individuals who do business with or obtain services from us.
  • Technical information, when this information can identify you as an individual, for instance if it is related to other information you provide. This may include information that you share or make visible on the Internet, including usage information (i.e. your interactions with the Services, searches and location information), log data (when you access the Services, our servers automatically receive and log information from your browser), information from your device (hardware model, operating system version, unique device identifiers, location, and available mobile network information), IP address, cookie information, the pages and functionality requested, and information available through to your device’s camera, photo library, or microphone, if you choose to provide the Services access to those tools.

You can choose to turn off the sharing of your exact location through your device settings.

How Your Personal Information Is Collected

We may collect personal information about you in different ways when you use the Services:

  • From you directly, for instance through your enrolment in, or use of, the Services; your interactions with us (for example, when you communicate with us); your purchase of products from us or participating retailers; or your participation in surveys, marketing promotions, or contests. You may also provide us with personal information through other means (for instance, verbally).
  • Through your online or electronic activity when using the Services, whether a website, or otherwise, including through self-reported information and communications with us through or with respect to the Services.
  • In some cases, information will be collected from sources other than the individual, for example third parties who represent they have the right to disclose such information to us.

How Your Personal Information is Used

We use your personal information for:

  • Registration: To make purchases through the Services, you must register for an account and provide certain Personal Information to us such as your name and email address.
  • Purchases: When you make a purchase through the Services, we may collect the following information: e-mail address, billing address, mailing address, pseudonyms, phone number, IP address, password, personal preferences, group affiliations, and payment and billing information. During checkout, you have the option to have us remember your credit card number for future purchases. We do this using a technology called "payment tokenization". That's just a fancy way of saying we don't actually store your credit card number. Instead, when you complete a purchase, we use your credit card number to obtain a secret token - a special random string of letters and numbers - from the credit card payment provider. Then, when you want to make your next purchase, instead of sending your credit card number to the credit card payment provider, we send the secret token. Just like all of our other financial transactions, this communication is set up to take place over a secure, encrypted communication line. We may use third party freight providers to deliver your purchases, and accordingly we share your name, phone number, email address and shipping address with such providers for the purposes of completing your delivery.
  • Mobile Location Data: We may ask you if you want to give our website access to your mobile devices location. If you grant access to your mobile location, we may collect location data from your device for analytics and to better provide our Services to you.
  • Communications with us: When you contact us through email, telephone, chat, social media private/direct message or through submitting a Customer service inquiry, customer review or survey, entering a contest on Well.ca, we may collect the information that you provide to us in the course of the communication to help respond to you or for purposes related to your communication.
  • Transactional Notifications: We may provide notifications for certain activities relating to your use of our Services despite your indicated e-mail preferences regarding marketing communications; for example, we may send you notices of any important updates regarding your orders, or updates to our Privacy Policy or Terms of Use.
  • Marketing Communications: If you opt-in to receive marketing communications from us, we will keep you up to date on our products and services. You may withdraw your consent to receiving marketing communications at any time by following the opt-out instructions in each communication, or by contacting us as indicated in the Contact section below.
  • Statistics: We also collect statistics about use of the Services purchased. This information will be kept confidential; however, aggregate statistics that do not personally identify an individual will be kept by us and may be made available to other members or third parties. For example, the name of the business you represent may be shared with our event sponsors, however no personally identifiable information of yours will be included.

These cookies allow the advertisement server operated by that third party to recognize your computer each time they send you an online advertisement. This information allows web advertisers to deliver targeted advertisements that they believe will be of most interest to you. For the privacy practices of third-party web advertisers, you should consult the applicable privacy policy for the relevant third-party web advertiser(s).
  • De-Identified Data: We may use de-identified, aggregated, data collected from you for our own purposes, such as research and development, marketing, and improving our products and services. This data will not be personally identifiable and will be used in accordance with our Privacy Policy and Privacy Notice.
